A former Deputy Coordinator of National Disaster Management Organisation (NADMO) Joseph Yamin has alleged that some renowned pastors and members of New Patriotic Party (NPP) buried human beings as sacrifices just to see the President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo in power.
He accused these pastors in the country for the recent deaths and other occurrences.
Ghana has been experiencing suicides, deaths, accident, burnt markets among others.
Speaking on Abusua FM’s Abusua Nkommo hosted by Kwame Adinkra, Mr Yamin, called on Ghanaians to blame these pastors for these heinous crimes, saying the country has been cursed due to the ‘dirty’ prayers said by these pastors during the electioneering.
He tagged the head pastor of International Central Gospel Church (ICGC) Pastor Mensa Otabil, the General Overseer of Glorious Word Power Ministry International and Rev. Owusu Bempeh, former Presbyterian Moderator Rev. Prof. Emmanuel Martey, Rev. Kusi Boafo and others as pastors of ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP).
Mr Yamin wondered why these pastors and NPP social commentators have kept mum about the unnecessary deputy ministerial appointments by the President but kicked against former President John Dramani Mahama’s appointments.
He questioned why they argued the deputy ministerial appointments by Mr Mahama would have a toll on the economy accusing them of embarking on an agenda to see Nana Addo in power but not championing developmental things that will bring transformation to the country.
He charged them to redeem themselves by unravelling the causes of the curse on the country asking why Rev Bempeh would say the occurrences cannot be translated into curse on the country.
‘Ghanaians are witnessing the outcome of Nana Addo’s victory. The dirty prayers by Rev. Owusu Bempeh, Pastor Otabil, Rev. Prof. Martey and others during the 2016 elections to change government are the cause of deaths, suicide, accident, burnt markets and other occurrences in the country. They should tell us what they did during their prayers. The consistency of women committing suicide within the first three months of Nana Addo’s administration is questionable.
I am telling you, Ghana is cursed, today the spiritualists should tell us where the curse is coming from, so that we all pray about it. They are part of the curse Ghana is going through, just to see one man become President, some people buried human beings for sacrifices,’ he alleged.
He prophesised doom for Ghana if the curse is not reversed.
