Wife of the vice presidential candidate of the NPP, Samira Bawumia has accused President Mahama and the National Democratic Congress of diverting state’s resources into mounting huge billboards to make the president visible in this election year.
Samira Bawumia cited the NDC government’s decision to allocate millions of Ghana cedis to rebrand metro mass buses, which she said smacks of incompetence and corruption.
The wife of the running mate to Nana Akufo-Addo addressing a charged gathering in Accra said the huge bill boards of President Mahama have only corruption and incompetence written all of them.
“They have used a lot of money to erect bill board for us to see the president. We have seen the billboards and on the billboards we can see corruption, on the billboard we can see incompetence…”
Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia’s wife was one of the many speakers who spoke at the New Patriotic Party’s Greater Accra regional campaign launch at the Akojo park in Tema.
