We Don’t Want Any Confusion Ahead of Polls

Presiding Bishop of Perez Chapel International, Bishop Charles Agyin-Asare has charged Ghanaians to do everything possible to make sure the December election is peaceful.

He made this remark in his peace message to Ghanaians ahead of the Presidential and Parliamentary elections which is only eight days away.

“Tensions are arising, there are a few skirmishes here and there in various locations. We don’t want any confusions because of an election. We must do everything within us to make it peaceful”, Bishop Agyin-Asaresaid.

Giving reasons why he thinks an election should not be an avenue for people to die, he stated explicitly, “The truth of the matter is, when you even look at the different political parties, one says it is free, another said it is progressively free. You see that they all have one agenda but only see it from different points of view.”

The Presiding Bishop cautioned chiefs to stop engaging in politics saying, “This is not the time to choose sides. Stay neutral and help moderate the election.”

In a prayer for the country, Bishop Charles Agyin-Asare told God to expose people who have intentions.
