West African Football Academy (WAFA) have leapfrogged leaders of the Ghana Premier League after a 3-0 drubbing of former champions Ashanti Gold SC in midweek.
The match played at Sogakope in the Volta Region saw WAFA leading by a lone goal at the break through Prince Obeng.
Two additional goals in the second half nailed the 2015 champions to the bottom of the log.
WAFA are two points clear after Asante Kotoko and Aduana Stars failed to win in their respective Match Day 10 games.
Kotoko lost 2-1 to Medeama SC while Aduana Stars drew 1-1 with Liberty Professionals.
