WAFA went to the top of the league table after a huge 3-0 home win over AshGold at Sogakope.
The slick-ball playing side were at their best and they found the opener through Prince Ampem Darko in the 17th minute. Daniel Lomotey and Gideon Waja added the other goals to give them 20 points.
AshGold are now bottom of the league with 8 points.
Hearts of Oak rediscovered their winning ways with a 4-2 over Bechem United at the Accra Sports Stadium.
The Phobians opened the scoring in the 4th minute with a Thomas Abbey goal. Richard Akrofi and Fatawu Mohammed scored the second and third goals respectively.
Bechem United found a way back into the match when Nana Antwi Manu and Abdul Bashru scored to make it 3-2 but Hearts closed the door with a goal from Cosmos Dauda.
Hearts are now 5th on 15 points while Bechem are a place and a point behind.
Asante Kotoko slipped to 3rd on the table after losing 2-1 at Medeama.
The Porcupine Warriors took the lead in the 31st minute with an Ahmed Adams header from a corner kick but Medeama came back to win with two goals from Paul Aidoo in the second half.
Kotoko now have 18 points with Medeama 12th on 11 points.
Bolga All Stars beat Elmina Sharks 1-0 in the battle of the Premier League debutants. The winning goal came from Emmanuel Anaba in the 90th minute.
Nicholas Gyan got his 7th goal of the season but it could not give Dwarfs victory over Tema Youth in Cape Coast. Tema Youth’s star man of the season, Joseph Paintsil had put the visitors ahead in the 29th minute but Gyan found the response in the 45th minute.
Liberty Professionals and Aduana Stars drew 1-1 at Dansoman. Samuel Sarfo shot Liberty into the lead but Bright Adjei made it 1-1 and that was how it stayed to the end.
Inter Allies and Berekum Chelsea played a 1-1 draw at the El-Wak Stadium.
