Hip-life music group VVIP has given its unflinching support to President John Dramani Mahama in next week’s presidential elections.
“This is VVIP. We have a recognized job since 1996,” Zeal of the music group told a huge gathering on Tuesday, November 29 in Kasoa during the commissioning of the first phase of the Kasoa Interchange.
“We have never endorsed any president before. This is our first time and we are doing it for a good cause.”
The multiple award-winning music group released a song on stage in praise of the president.
They also used the opportunity to sing a happy birthday song for President Mahama.
Celebrity endorsement is not new in the run-up to this year’s elections with the likes of John Dumelo, Mzbel and Bukom Banku going for the president.
The likes of Praye, Lucky Mensah, Wisa Greid and A-Plus have gone for opposition candidate Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo.
