Voting in the 2016 elections is well underway and over 15 million voters are casting their ballots across 28,992 polling centres in the country’s 275 constituencies.

In the Greater Accra Region, voting has been going on smoothly, but there was an arrest at a polling centre in the Ayawaso Central constituency where a man was arrested for wielding a knife and threatening other persons with physical harm. He was promptly disarmed and arrested by police.
