The Deputy Chief of Staff in charge of operations, Kenneth Wujangi, has called on the people on the north-eastern corridor of northern Ghana, to vote massively for President John Mahama to ensure the completion of the numerous infrastructural works he has started.
He said this at the commissioning of a school project at Makayili in the Nanumba north district of the northern region, during his campaign tour on the north-eastern corridor.
Mr. Wujangi also said the people should vote massively for anyone standing on the ticket of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) as parliamentary candidate.
He said per the constitution, the president has a chance for a second term and called on the people to do him a favour as they have done to his predecessors former president Jerry John Rawlings and president J. A. Kufour, by giving him another term as president of the republic, to complete the numerous developmental projects he has started.
“A good reason for us to vote massively for President John Dramani Mahama and National Democratic Congress and any parliamentary candidate on the ticket of the NDC, includes the fact that a massive vote for the president and candidates will give us an opportunity to complete the numerous projects we have started.”
“We want the welfare of the people. We want opportunity to change the lives of the people and transform the nation as whole for all of us to live in. Here in the north, especially on the eastern corridor, we see the eastern corridor road and we see that work on it has stalled for a while, it is simply because there is a change in government in Brazil and the new Brazilian government that has come, and so we need to renegotiate and work things out so that the contractors will come back to continue.”
“So there is the need if a government is changed, and we do not continue and a new one comes, this road maybe abandoned forever, therefore there is the need for us to vote massively for President John Dramani Mahama for us to continue the next four years so as to complete the numerous projects.”
