Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Vodafone Ghana, Yolanda Cuba, has hinted that her outfit has over the years invested about US$1.7 billion in network infrastructure and operations to provide quality service to customers.
According to her, the huge investment made over the years by her outfit has brought them to the level they are now as leaders in the industry.
“Two years ago, we shared with you our successes as the best in voice clarity and 3G+ internet speed through our Network Campaign.
“…Last year, we again made the boldest claim yet that we are giving Ghanaians a Money Back Guarantee to test our network and have their monies refunded if they are dissatisfied. So if today, we have become a SuperNet, it is clear that our investments over the period and commitment are beginning to yield great dividend and we would not rest on our laurels going forward,” she said.
The CEO of Vodafone said this when speaking to an excited crowd gathered at the fore court of the Vodafone Ghana Head Office during the official launch of SuperNet in Accra.
She said the newly introduced service would offer customers a complete basket of deliverables to cater for their every need across all touch points.
“SuperNet will change the conversation and focus on the relevant discussion points of responsiveness to customer comfort and satisfaction,” she said.
She added that “it will bring our role as a total communication solutions provider to life in a more meaningful way. The point cannot be overemphasized that what we do on a daily basis finds a place in the everyday activity of humankind and we remain committed to it”.
Yolanda Cuba further indicated that with the introduction of SuperNet, Vodafone will be providing platforms that ensure access to data for all, providing opportunities to make it customers work smarter and efficient using modern digitised tools and systems and promoting digital inclusion and raising generations of technologically savvy customers and stakeholders across the country.
“This also elevates the telecoms conversation beyond functionality concepts such as speed because a network must, above all else, provide reliability, constant connection and confidence for its users, “she averred.
Earlier, Director of Consumer Business Unit at Vodafone, Agnes Essah, said Vodafone has once again achieve of another milestone as a telecommunications company operating in Ghana.
According to her, SuperNet is Vodafone’s way of sharing the advances it has made in opening up a world of limitless possibilities for customers across this country.
