Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumiah taking the oath of office led by CJ Theodora Woode
Chief Justice Georgina Woode has just sworn in the newly elected Vice President Dr. Alhaji Mahamudu Bawumiah. Led by Chief Justice Georgina Theodora Woode, Dr. Bawumiah took the oath of office holding the Quran in the right hand.
His official duties as Vice President of the Fourth Republic of Ghana begins today.
Until now, Dr. Bawumiah also run as the Vice-presidential candidate of the New Patriotic Party in Ghana’s 2012 general elections and was the lead witness for the petitioners in the 2012/2013 Presidential Election Petition, which challenged the declaration of John Mahama as winner of the Ghana’s 2012 Presidential Election.
He is married to Samira Ramadan and they have four children.
