There a wind of change blowing across the country that not even the lack of money by the main opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP) will stop it, the Director of Fundraising of the party, Mr Ken Ofori-Atta has said.
Though Mr Ofori-Atta conceded that the NPP is having “a difficult time to raise money”, he said, the lack of it will not stop the will of the people to vote for change in the 7 December polls.
“I am not really moved by that because I think there is a certain spirit moving through the nation for change and that trumps it all,” he said.
“I think there is a fourth component – that is whether the Lord is anointing this thing or not”.
He said considering the number of supporters that thronged the International Trade Fair Centre to witness the launch of the party’s 2016 manifesto, if the NPP “is a broke party, then it means the Lord’s hand is in it and we doing extremely well,” Mr Ofori-Atta told Accra-based Joy FM.
