Head coach of the Black Stars, Avram Grant has indicated that the team’s AFCON opener against Uganda will be a very difficult test despite being sure that his side will win the game.
The Cranes frustrated the Black Stars to a goalless draw ahead of the 2018 FIFA World Cup at Tamale Sports Stadium a couple of months ago.
The Stars will be hoping to prove a point to the Cranes but Grant who has been charged by the Ghana Football Association (GFA) to win the AFCON says it will be a difficult match.
“Uganda is a tough team and we saw that in our last game with them but that was in the past. We are in the present now so we can only learn from what happened in the past.
“All the games in Africa are now tough and there are no easy games now. We also try to be a difficult opponent for any team and we will try to win any game as is our target. Our target is still to win every game”, Avram said.
Ghana plays Uganda on Tuesday at 4pm at the Port Gentil Stadium.
