As part of their corporate social responsibility, Ghana’s leading TV station, TV3 and the best voice and data Telecom Company in Ghana, Tigo have set February 18, 2017 for a blood donation exercise which is aimed at restocking the national blood bank.
The annual event which is held at the premises of TV3 has saved thousands of lives who have had to depend on blood at critical times of their treatment.
The National Blood Bank has over the years cried over the lack of sufficient stock especially during festive period where lots of accidents are recorded.
The call for donations touched the hearts of the management of TV3 and Tigo leading to the national call for all and sundry to donate a pint of blood to save a life.
Participants are promised a great time of entertainment during the exercise and an interaction session with their favourite TV3, Onuafm and 3Fm personalities.
This is the third successive year Tigo has partnered TV3 for this exercise, a partnership that both companies are looking at sustaining going into the future.
