Nana Addo at NPP thanksgiving service, said the battle remains the Lord’s even with the daunting tasks ahead of them as the soon-to-be ruling party.
The NPP has won the elections. Now, Ghanaians are expecting them to fulfil every bit of the promises they made during their campaign.
But speaking at the party’s Praise and Thanksgiving service held on Sunday, December 18, President-elect, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo expressed confidence in the belief that God who has given them victory in the elections will also help them to accomplish the enormous tasks ahead.

Nana Addo called on party members and supporters not to lose sight of the task ahead of them while they praise God for what he has done for them.
He said that with their support and hard work, they shall succeed. He also urged them to intensify their prayers as well as renew their faith and strength in God so as to enable them achieve their set goals, adding that he has “no doubts that the battle is still the Lord’s.”

Earlier in his address, Nana Addo at NPP thanksgiving condemned condemned reported post-election violence engaged in by NPP supporters different parts of the country.
According to him, “such behaviour is unbecoming of us” and “should not have happened”. He then called on all Ghanaians to forgive anyone who has hurt them and act with kindness, generosity and magnanimity.
