The newly constructed Bukom Boxing gym is expected to host the IBO lightweight bout between Emmanuel Tagoe and Argentine boxer Febardo David Saucedo on November 25, 2016.
The fight which is being organized by the Baby Jet Promotion will see Tagoe opening the 7,000-seater edifice as he competes for his first world title belt.
The Boxing Gym is scheduled to be commissioned on November 14 and Sports Minister Nii Lantey Vanderpujie believes the bout will offer more opportunities to other event organizers.
“On the 14th when we commission the Bukom Boxing Arena, it will open opportunity for us to host the International Boxing Organization World title fight between Emmanuel Tagoe and his Argentine opponent,” Vanderpuijie confirmed to Starr Sports.
