A retired Supreme Court judge and a former professor of Law at the University of West Indies, Justice Vincent Cyril Richard Arthur Charles Crabbe has called on all political party leaders to have service within their heart.
Justice Crabbe who was speaking to Maame Korea on Atinka FM’s “Obrempong Ahyease” show last Sunday said, “In politics, we all have the interest of the country at heart; there is no need to insult anybody in politics because insult is not argument. We live in a country in which the Constitution gives us the opportunity to speak our mind”.
He continued by advising the various political leaders that the country does not need us to fight each other but rather needs us to come together for the betterment of our people.
He also urged the youth to listen to all political parties and use their judgement in whom they will vote for and also advised to stay away from election violence and serve the country rationally.
Touching on education, the former Supreme Court Judge urged all students to know their capabilities before entering University.
According to him, students must determine what they want to be before applying for any university programme. “There are many qualities given to man by God, so students are to know where they are coming from, where they are going and also where they have gotten to,” He added
Justice Crabbe also pleaded and advised the youth to also study agriculture and go into farming since the development of a country does not depend solely on white colour .
