Former Member of Parliament for Ningo-Prampram, Enoch Teye Mensah is calling on the NDC leadership to call its Regional Organizer, Anthony Nukpenu to order.
In his view, recent comments by Mr. Nukpenu media following his decision to contest the Council of State election amount to total disrespect to his person.
ET Mensah’s was reacting to Nukpenu’s warning that he [ET] risks losing his membership in the NDC if he continues to champion the cause against the party.
According to the NDC Regional Organizer, the loyalty of the party stalwart is now in question following his subtle support for the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) to the detriment of his own political party.
“As it stands today in opposition, I cannot vouch for his loyalty and complete commitment to the NDC’s advancement in the next elections,” Anthony noted.
But ET Mensah questioned the locus of the party’s Regional Organizer who is moving heaven on earth to have him thrown out of the party.
“What is this boy called Anthony saying. He shouldn’t tell me that because I don’t want to hear it. Who gave him that authority to say that I would be dismissed from the party? He is not the General Secretary neither is he the chairman. What is his beef and when did he come to the party, he just a small boy” he said on Accra-based Okay.
The former Ningo-Prampram MP said even if the leadership of the party decides to dismiss him from the party from voicing out his intentions, it should not come from the Regional Organizer of the party.
