Elmina Sharks will honour their only outstanding match in the Ghana Premier League (GPL) when they face defending league champions, Wa All Stars, at the Malik Jabir Stadium in Wa in the Upper West Region today.
The match was postponed due to Wa All Stars poor participation in the CAF Champions League qualifiers against Al Ahly of Tripoli. Wa All Stars lost in both legs with a disappointing 5-1 in the hands of the North Africans.
Wa All Stars will return with high hopes of recovering from their 2-1 defeat to Accra Hearts of Oak at the Accra Sports Stadium while Elmina Sharks will confidently walk into the match with much reliance on their strength and tactical brilliance that won them their week 4 encounter against Tema Youth at home.
With both coaches under pressure to pick maximum points, the match certainly will be a test of tactical sagacity by both experienced leaders and their players as they seek to clinch the trophy.
