2012 BET award winner for best International act (Africa), Sarkodie, has said he is not rich.
Despite being ambassador for Samsung, Fan Milk Ghana, and Tigo, as well as C.E.O of Sark Clothing, the hip-hop artiste insists he is not rich.
Speaking with Class FM’s entertainment presenter Natalia Andoh, he said anyone, who is able to quantify his wealth is not rich at all.
For him, his wealth is the music he makes and the fact that he is growing so much, as far as his passion for the love of music is concerned.
Sarkodie said his major concern has never been about money, but appreciates the fact that he can afford the few things he wants.
The two-time Ghana Music Awards Artiste of the Year was ranked number six by MTV on their list of Hottest African MCs in 2014.
Some few months ago, he released his fourth album, titled ‘Mary,’ dedicating it to his grandmother who died in 2012.
The album features live instrumentals. Sarkodie featured artistes like Efya, Akwaboah, Mugeez, Chase, and Obrafour.
