The interdicted Divisional Fire Officer for the Techiman Municipality Eric Ansah Andoh, has been charged for rape while his victim, Ataa Takyi has also been charged for causing harm.
A Techiman Circuit Court presided over Her Lordship Juan Eyi Kin has however granted the first accused bail in the sum of GH¢2,000 bail to allow him recover from the injury he sustained, and asked that he reappears before the court on 11th October, 2016.
It would be recalled that Mr Andoh visited the home of his purported lover, a community fire personnel deployed to the Techiman Fire Station under the Youth Employment Agency (YEA), who is supposed to be a subordinate in the same office with him and after serving her superior water he [Mr Andoh] demanded to have sexual intercourse with her.
According to the victim, she struggled with him [Fire Commander] till she finally gave up in the process.
The victim said, she subsequently agreed to make love with her Commander after she realized she was being overpowered. According to her, she agreed to have a three minute romance with her boss, where she finally bit off the commander’s penis in the act.
She noted that, after seeing Mr Ansah bled profusely, she quickly called for help from the Fire Office.
The Fire Commander was later rushed to the Dr. Kesse Hospital at Techiman for medical attention but has since been interdicted on orders of the Chief Fire Officer, Albert Brown Gaisie.
