Deputy Director of Passports at the Greater Accra Regional Passport Application centre, Samuel Ofosu Boateng, has appealed to Government to replicate online Passport applications throughout regions in Ghana.
According to him, this was the only way to reduce numbers at the passport application centres in the country.
He made the call when the Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia paid a surprise visit to the Greater Accra Regional Passport Application centre.
The vice president, Dr Mahamudu Bawumia agreed with the suggestion and promised to implement policies in collaboration with the Foreign Affairs Ministry to facilitate online passport application in other regional capitals.
