Manu supporters have been involved in risky activities in their jubilant mood
New Patriotic Party (NPP) Member of Parliament for New Juaben South Constituency in the Eastern region, Dr. Mark Asibey Yeboah has called party supporters to reduce the alcohol intake while celebrating their victory.
According to him, reports in some constituency across the country indicate that some NPP members have died while celebrating the victory in the just ended polls.
Most of the deaths, Dr. Asibey Yeboah noted is as a result of excessive alcohol intake after the party’s leader, Nana Akufo-Addo was named President-elect in the December 7elections.
He disclosed this while addressing members of the NPP in Koforidua after a health walk dubbed: ‘Victory Walk ‘ Sunday.
The development, the Juaben South MP described as worrying since the fan is yet to begin across the country.
Dr. Asibey Yeboah charged members to be moderate in their celebrating since they need them alive for the task ahead.
