The Former Public Relations Officer (PRO) of the Presbyterian Church of Ghana, Dr. Emmanuel Osei Acheampong has accused the immediate past Moderator Reverend Professor Emmanuel Martey of being a chronic liar.
He claims the hypocrisy always exhibited by the outspoken man of God does not expose this side of him unless those he is closer to.
“His trademark is lies but creates a different image before the congregants as though he is an angel. This man thrives on lies.” He told Kwame Adinkra on Abusua Nkomo.
Dr. Emmanuel Osei Acheampong says he cannot fathom why a leader of one of the respected churches in the country, will peddle falsehood in the national media and challenged him to a media encounter on claims he did not receive a $100K and V8 4×4 car bribe from a politician both have refused to name.
“If he has no shame, then I challenge him to mention names and they will expose themselves”, he said.
According to him, the conduct of Professor Emmanuel Martey is inimical to the growth of the church especially when he has just ended his tenure as the leader of the Presbyterian Church.
“You don’t create this mess after your exit……he does not know he is creating trouble for the incoming moderator Reverend Professor Cephas Narh Omenyo”
He expressed hope that the bruised image of the church of church will be restored under Professor Cephas Narh Omenyo he described as very hardworking and a man of conscience.
