President John Mahama has left Accra for New Delhi, India, to participate in the 3rd India- Africa Forum Summit.
He is being accompanied on the trip by the Foreign Minister, Hanna S. Tetteh (MP) and Finance Minister Seth E. Terkper, an official statement from the Flagstaff House – the seat of government – announced.
The Summit, first held in 2008, will enable leaders of the continent to hold consultations with the Indian government at the highest political level and give a new thrust to the existing relations.
Accompanied by First Lady, Lordina Dramani Mahama, President Mahama will hold private bilateral talks with Prime Minister Narendra Modi, meet with the Chairman and MD of India’s EXIM Bank and address an investment and entrepreneurial forum.
Mahama will also interact with the Ghanaian Community in New Delhi and grant audience to CEOs of a number of leading Indian businesses, the statement added
