President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo Addo has commissioned a Museum of Heads of State situated at the former seat of government, The Christianborg Castle.
The short but elegant ceremony took place on the 5 of March of 2017.
The Museum is one of the many legacy projects identified by government to mark the Ghana 60 years on celebration.
The project will transform the entire Castle into a Museum that will project all of Ghana’s statesmen, particularly Heads of States.
The ceremony included a tour of an exhibition of monuments of former Heads of States.
The President in his address before the tour of the exhibition called on Ghanaians to take full advantage and also tour the Museum and learn from the many historical details that will form part of the Museum.
The President was hopeful that the Museum will offer job opportunities to the youth of Osu and its environs.
