The Progressive People’s Party is meeting with the Electoral Commission to amend errors spotted in their nomination forms as claimed by the Commission.
The Electoral Commission on Wednesday revealed that the PPP, led by Dr. Paa Kwesi Nduom had committed 102 errors on their nomination forms contrary to the 1 earlier reported after the Supreme Court had ruled that parties be allowed to correct errors on their nomination forms, effectively quashing the Electoral Commission’s disqualification of the 13 presidential hopefuls.
The PPP, according to reports, is represented by two sons of Dr. Nduom and some top officials of the party to rectify the errors which formed basis of their disqualification from contesting in the presidential election in December.
The party believes the commission is not dealing fairly with them and is determined to scuttle their flag bearer’s plans of running for the presidency.
