A total of 15 students of the Kumasi Technical Institute (KTI) are on admission at Ahwiemu Hospital, a private hospital in Kumasi following a clash between the students and the police Tuesday night.
Dozens were injured when the police swooped on the KTI campus after the students reportedly blocked the road leading to the school causing traffic.
The students were celebrating their qualification to Super Zonals after placing 4th at the INTERCO.

There was a stand off between the police and the students on Tuesday night when the latter blocked the road in front of the school and prevented other cars from using the road.
An attempt by the police to disperse the students was met with resistance from the students who threw stones at them.
The police explained after calling for reinforcement, they fired tear gas to disperse the students and chased them back to their campus.
The teacher went on to allege that the police brutalised the students and later arrested some of them.
