Five of the seven candidates seeking the mandate of Ghanaians to lead the country for the next four years, locked horns in a battle of ideas and policies Wednesday night to justify why they should be voted for in this year’s general elections.
They were Jacob Osei Yeboa, an independent candidate, Dr Papa Kwesi Nduom of the Progressive People’s Party, John Mahama of the National Democratic Congress, Ivor Greenstreet of the Convention People’s Party and Dr Edward Mahama of the People’s National Convention.
Absent were the New Patriotic Party’s Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo and Nana Konadu Agyeman-Rawlings of the National Democratic Party.
Our photojournalist, Ayerkie Narnor captured some of the moments at the event which was held at the Banquet Hall in Accra.
