President-elect Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo and Vice President-elect Dr Mahamudu Bawumia on Sunday, December 25 spent part of their Christmas at the 37 Military Hospital with surviving victims of the La gas explosion.
The victims are receiving treatment from injuries sustained in last Thursday’s explosion, which claimed at least 10 lives.
The cause of the disaster at the Louis Gas Station near the Ghana International Trade Fair Center was not known but it has since been closed down for investigations.
Nana Akufo-Addo has already commiserated with families of the departed victims.
But he went to the accidents and emergency ward of the military hospital to cheer up the survivors.
