Bishop Charles Agyin Asare, Vice-Chancellor of the Perez University College has advised students to focus on their studies to attain more knowledge.
He urged them to spend quality time on their studies and avoid too much indulgence on social media and phone calls.
Bishop Agyin- Asare gave the advice at the matriculation ceremony of 136 fresh students at the University.
The Matriculants are studying Bachelor of Business Administration and Certificate courses.
He said the University was committed to the development of human resource needs of the educational set-up, and his administration would ensure that it was executed.
He said to attain excellence, there was the need for them to take their studies seriously by aspiring to be higher scholars in future.
“You should adhere to the rules and regulations of the school, stick to your books and not to hesitate to consult the tutors whenever you are facing difficulties”, he charged them.
Ambassador Kabral Blay Amihere, former President of Ghana Journalist Association who was the Guest speaker of the programme stated that, people with clear vision and always got to the top and urged them to work hard in order to come out with flying colors.
“Your future is in your own hands, and therefore you are required to dream big to acquire the requisite knowledge and skills to reflect on the society,” he added.
Rev. Mac D. Arkoh, Head of Registry of the University, administered the Matriculation Oath onto the fresh students.
