Campus Base TV host, Daasebre Kojo Opoku-Agyeman, known in showbiz industry as JKD, says the future looks great for him.
Mr. Agyeman, a product of University of Ghana, Legon, talked to Weekend Today (WT) about his brand, career and future.
WT: How did you feel in your first movie role?
JKD: The feeling was great and I must say that added value to my brand.
WT: Tell us about your role in that movie?
JKD: The movie was about love and how love can affect families either positive or negative. My role was really funny as I played the role of a troublesome person.
JKD: Not at all…when you’re cut for a role, you’re cut for it. Big ups to the Director, Kobi Rana. He knows exactly what he wants in a character, and who exactly to pick for any role.
JKD: JKD stands for Jay Kojo Daasebre, and the name (JKD) is a versatile brand. I derived the name Jay back in my school days, so after my tertiary education, I went back for the name when I started with Campus Base TV.
ET: Are you still with Campus Base TV?
JKD: My contract hasn’t ended. I’m grateful to management of Campus Base TV for making me what I’m today.
ET: Who is/are your favourite artiste(s) in GH?
