Felix Ofosu-Kwakye wonders why Akufo-Addo would make such decisions; when President Mahama and late President Mills, were greatly condemned by the NPP for doing same.
Nana Akufo-Addo on Wednesday, named some 12 individuals who will serve as his administrative staff, when he takes over as President on January 7, 2017. Announcing the staff at his Nima residence in Accra, Nana Akufo-Addo named some young people included in his list of political appointments.
Some of the young appointees mentioned were; Francis Asenso-Boakye and Samuel Abu Jinapor, both Deputy Chiefs of Staff, Eugene Arhin, Director of Communications at the Presidency and Clara Napaga Sulemana Tia, a Presidential Staffer.

While some have applauded the President-elect for coming up with a great list, others have questioned the inclusion of young individuals on the list. Ofosu-Akwakye who happens to be one of those, has expressed his displeasure with the decision. S
Speaking on Citi News, Mr. Felix said although he is not against the appointment of young people in government, he found it hypocritical for the NPP to turn around and do same thing they criticized the then ruling party for.
He described as unfortunate the fact that when President Mills and President Mahama appointed young persons to contribute to national development; members of the NPP -the then opposition, hugely castigated them and never allowed them the opportunity.
But despite his disturbing observation, Ofosu-Kwakye has wished the incoming government luck, as they fully take over leadership on January 7, 2017.
