Two women invoke curses on any person who may compromise the credibility of the elections
The opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP) has invoked curses on members of the party who will receive bribes from the ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC) and cause its defeat at the polls barely 6 days away.
Two women, who are believed to be specialists in invoking curses in the region according to the Isaac Justice Bediako, were invited to the Bantama Constituency office of the party from Asante Bekwai at the instance of some executives.
He reports that the women are calling the wrath of a number of river deities on any person who may compromise the credibility of the elections including the flagbearer of the party, his wife and kids.
The latest development comes on following reports that some party stalwarts including legislators have received bribes from the ruling party to work against the party’s victory.
Some aggrieved executives who are peeved by this, invited the women who on Thursday morning pitched camp at constituency office invoking a barrage of curses dressed with palm fronds.
