Alan Kyeremanten aka Alan Cash, top member of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) and former Minister of Trade and Industry, has urged the Ghanaian electorate to vote massively for the NPP if they want jobs.
He stated that the NPP has a formula for the creation of jobs, therefore a vote for the party “is a vote for jobs and transformation.”
Alan Cash was addressing a mini rally at Aburaso in the Atwima Kwanwona Constituency of the Ashanti Region on Wednesday, which was attended by a huge number of party faithful.
That was the first day of a four-day campaign tour of the region by Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, standard bearer of the NPP.
Alan Cash accused President Mahama’s National Democratic Congress (NDC) administration of collapsing businesses with their bad policies.
He also lambasted the government for failing woefully to create jobs for the unemployed over the past eight years.
Alan Cash predicted massive victory for Nana Akufo-Addo on December 7, saying that the NPP government would create jobs in excess.
He urged the unemployed people in the country to rally behind the NPP and its flag bearer so that they would win the polls and create jobs for them.
Alan Cash said the 17.5 percent VAT rate under the NDC government is too high, promising that the figure would be reduced to 3 percent if the NPP comes to power.
He added that the exorbitant taxes in the country would all be reduced so that business people would be relieved and operate smoothly.
He said Nana Akufo-Addo’s One District, One Factory promise is implementable, and it’s intended to make jobs abundant for the citizenry.
