Nana Addo casts vote alongside other party officials, as the excited crowd who thronged the location, cheered and called for change
The New Patriotic Party (NPP) candidate, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, has just cast his vote in his hometown Kyebi, in the 2016 presidential and parliamentary polls. The NPP Flagbearer who cast his vote at Rock of Ages Polling Station B, was also accompanied by his wife Rebecca Akufo-Addo.

A large crowed thronged the environs of the polling station, to catch a glimpse of the NPP flagbearer who came to cast his ballot. Upon sighting the 72-year-old, the excited crowed cheered joyfully, calling for change as he was ushered in and taken through the voting formalities.
Nana Addo casts vote alongside other party officials including; MP for Abuakwa South constituency, Hon. Samuel Atta Akyea and others, who accompanied him.
Voting is ongoing in the 2016 Presidential and Parliamentary elections, during which a president and 275 Parliamentarians, will be elected to govern the country for the next four years.
Nana Akufo Addo is one of seven aspirants contesting to become Ghana’s president for the next 4 years. The NPP leader is seeking to unseat President Mahama; who is also running for a second tenure, under the ticket of the incumbent National Democratic Congress (NDC).
Other contestants include; Former First Lady Nana Konadu Agyeman-Rawlings of the National Democratic Party (NDP), Dr. Edward Mahama of the People’s National Convention (PNC), Ivor Greenstreet of the Convention People’s Party (CPP), Dr Papa Kwesi Nduom of the Progressive People’s Party (PPP) and independent candidate Jacob Osei Yeboah.
Nana Addo after casting his vote, took to his social media page to issue a statement. The NPP Flagbearer in his statement, urged the people to go out and vote massively for him and also called for peace and orderliness throughout the elections.
