GN Bank has asked it customers to remain calm following the invasion of one of its branch near Potsin on the Accra-Winneba highway by armed robbers, assuring them that there was ‘no cause for panic.’
In a statement issued on Friday, April 07, 2017 and signed by the General Manager,
Groupe Corporate Affairs, Richmond Duke Keelson, said the police had since mounted a serious search for the robbers with the help of the bank’s surveillance system which provided “valuable information for the police to use.”
“We want to inform our customers and the general public that the branch is carrying on with normal daily business. In fact every deposit at the branch is safe and intact,” the statement added.
It further observed that the banks security had been strengthened to guarantee the safety of its staff, customers and deposits, adding: “GN Bank re-assures the general public that the situation is firmly under control.”
