The National Media Commission (NMC) on Monday paid a working visit to MG Digital Ghana Limited, managers of comprehensive news portal 3news.com.
The visit forms part of the Commission’s efforts to reach out to media houses ahead of the 2016 elections.
The exercise, which began last week, is ongoing across the national capital with similar ones scheduled for the other regional capitals.
It is scheduled to end on Wednesday, September 28.
Among the members of the Commission who made it to Adesa We in Kanda, where the Media General media firms including MG Radio and TV3 are based, are Dr Doris Yaa Dartey, Alhaji Noor-Deen Saeed, Nana Addo Gyau Akabisa II and Kakra Essamuah.
Administrative officer Paula Sanziri was also part of the delegation, which later visited TV3, Onua FM and 3FM.
The National Media Commission has the mission to support and develop media freedom with a mandate of supervision and enforcement of media regulations to the benefit of all Ghanaians.
