The Nigerian government on Wednesday expressed its readiness to partner with the Ukrainian government in military technology and equipment.
The West African country’s Chief of Defense Staff (CDS) Abayomi Gabriel Olonisakin disclosed this when he hosted Ambassador of Ukraine to Nigeria, Valerii Aleksandruk, at the Defense Headquarters in Abuja, the nation’s capital.
Earlier, Aleksandruk commended the already existing Nigeria-Ukraine relationship and asked for it to be further strengthened, especially in the areas of military and education.
He said Ukrainian companies were ready to transfer some technology to Nigeria and make it a hub to West Africa and other African countries. Enditem
