Newly elected executive members of the University of Ghana Pensioners Association (UGPA) have been sworn at short ceremony at the premises of UGPA office at Legon.
Mr Gumah Zakaria Naba, a member of the Teachers and Educational Workers Union (TEWU), who administered the oath, urged the new executives to comport themselves and work assiduously to attain their stated goals.
The sworn in executives who will serve from 2016 to 2020 include: Mr Emmanuel A. Adagba, Chairman; Mr E. K.A. Odoom, Vice Chairman; Mr Shine Gaveh, Secretary; Mrs Victoria Akweley Codjoe, Assistant Secretary; Mr Andrew Agbodzi, Treasurer; Mr. B.K.A. Quansah, Financial Secretary; Reverend E.O.N Okwei, UGPA Chaplain; Mr George Ampaabeng, Registrar; Dr Robert Akwamoa-Boateng, Executive Member.
The event was attended by several members of the Association.
