The beleaguered flagbearer of the All People’s Congress (APC) Hassan Ayariga has advised his fellow disqualified aspirant Dr. Papa Kwesi Nduom to go to court and fight his case instead of seeking audience with the EC.
The Progressive People’s Party’s (PPP) presidential candidate has asked the EC chair Charlotte Osei to grant him five minutes to seek clarification over his disqualification from the race to the Flagstaff House.
Speaking on Starr Chat Wednesday, Ayariga said the business magnate should resort to the court instead of being diplomatic.
“Nduom should stop the formalities and do the right thing. He must use the legal means. I’m going to court because I filled my forms properly,” a very livid Ayariga told host Bola Ray.
Following his disqualification, Ayariga scathingly attacked the Chairperson of the Electoral Commission, describing her as “foolish and stupid”.
“Madam Charlotte Osei herself is not qualified to be an EC leader. She’s stupid and foolish,” the Pizza maker told the media after hearing of his disqualification.
“Somebody who has contested in an election in the past, you are telling me you don’t know his identity. Are you normal? And for that reason you disqualify that person? Does it make sense to you? That you tell me that Hassan Ayariga, you don’t know his identity? Who the f*** are you?,” Ayariga said.
Ayariga said the EC boss insulted his “personality” hence his resolve to “attack her integrity”.
He has since “apologised sincerely” for his utterances.
