Contrary to information that the Progressive People’s Party has suspended campaign in the wake of the demise of the party’s 2012 vice presidential candidate, flagbearer Dr Papa Kwesi Nduom has turned up in the Upper West Region to energise their support base.
Dr Nduom, who arrived in Wa early this morning, travelled to Nandom Constituency through Nadowli-Kaleo and Lawra constituencies to campaign for votes.
Accompanied by some of the party stalwarts in the region, he is expected to return to Wa to hold mini rallies before heading back to Accra.
Madam Eva Lokko, who was the party’s parliamentary candidate for Osu Clottey in Accra, died on Thursday, throwing the Ghanaian political landscape into shock.
