Former First Lady and founder of the National Democratic Party (NDP), Nana Konadu Agyeman-Rawlings has predicted victory for her party in the upcoming November polls.
Considering the kind of work the NDP is doing at the grassroots level in the country, she said she is confident the party will form the next government of the day.
“You will have a miracle on your hands because I know it when we go out and I feel it,” she delivered under a confident tone.
The former First Lady disclosed this in an exclusive interview with Francis Abban, host of Joynews/MultiTV news analysis programme, PULSE on June 27.
The NDP was unable to compete in the 2012 polls because it failed to meet the Electoral Commission (EC)’s deadline to submit its nomination form.
Nana Konadu has recently taken to social media producing short videos in which she berates the governing National Democratic Congress (NDC), founded by her husband for deceiving Ghanaians.
She has called on Ghanaians to reject the Mahama-led government and consider her party at the November 2016 polls.
“I am not a magician but we are working towards winning,” she said, noting, the party is in the race to win.
When asked why she was so sure of winning, the outspoken former First Lady did not mince words when she said: “Politics is about being sure of yourself.”
Parading her works before the nation, Nana Konadu said: “I want them to vote for me because I have the track record and I will not lie to them [Ghanaians].”
