The 2016 elections review committee of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) is scheduled to be in the Eastern Region from Monday, March 13 to sample reasons for the party’s defeat.
The committee is expected to be in the Region till Friday, March 17.
An itinerary released by Eastern Region Secretary Kevor Mark-Oliver on Sunday, March 12 said the committee chaired by Dr Kwesi Botchwey will meet constituency executives, cadres representatives, members who lost constituency elections, those who lost parliamentary primaries, former municipal, metropolitan and district executives (MMDCEs), current and former members of Parliament (MPs) and party agents.
Monday will see a meeting with regional executives as well as Council of Elders and the regional campaign task force.
Tuesday will see the committee hold meetings in Afram Plains North and South, Mpraeso, Abetifi, Nkawkaw, Abirem, Atiwa East and West constituencies.
Wednesday will see the committee visit Ofoase Ayirebi, Lower West Akim, Upper West Akim, Akim Oda, Akim Swedru, Akim Achiase and Kade as well as Akwatia constituencies.
The committee will be in New Juaben North and South, Akwapim North and South, Okere, Nsawam Adoagyiri, Ayensuano and Suhum constituencies on Thursday, March 16.
The rest of the constituencies to be visited on Thursday are Fanteakwa North and South as well as Abuakwa North and South.
The committee will wrap up on Friday in Asuogyaman, Lower and Upper Manya Krobo and Yilo Krobo constituencies.
Constituency chairmen have been directed to coordinate the meetings.
