Some youth organizers of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) says they will not participate in the plan demonstration against the New Patriotic Party (NPP) over the seizure of NDC official’s vehicle.
The youth organizers believe the organizer of the demonstration Sidi Abubarkar who is the National youth organizer of the NDC contributed to the defeat of the NDC in the last elections hence they will not listen to him.
Speaking to Adom News’ Mawell Kuderkor, the NDC Youth Organizer of the Fanteakwa South constituency, Mark Okraku said Sidi Abubarkar could not organize the NDC youth well, a situation which created apathy among the youth.
He added that, Sidi Abubarkar claim he was sidelined in the last campaign and did not have resources to mobilize the youth but has gotten resources in opposition to mobilise the youth for demonstration.
Mark Okraku indicated that the NDC youth wing is not meant for demonstrations so they won’t go on the street.
He called on all the NDC youth to ignore the Sidi Abubakar’s plan demonstration.
