A man of God is predicting the National Democratic Congress (NDC) will be in perpetual opposition if it keeps disrespecting the clergy.
According to Rev Daniel Osei Budu, members of the ruling party has incurred the wrath of God for subjecting His servants to public ridicule thus taught them a bitter lesson by letting them lose the December 7 general elections.
Nana Akufo-Addo becomes the next President of the country after his party, the New Patriotic Party (NPP) emerged winners in the just ended elections with over 53 percent of the votes.
The three-time lucky NPP leader polled 5,716,026 to beat incumbent President John Mahama who had 4,713, 277 Electoral Commission Chairperson, Charlotte Osei announced Friday evening.
This results many political pundits have described as very surprising given the massive infrastructural development undertaken by the Mahama-led government few months to the elections.
But Rev. Osei Budu who is also the head pastor of Oil of Favour Ministry believes the NDC’s defeat was orchestrated by God.
He explained that, just like God punished King Saul and Nebuchadnezzar in the Bible, He just taught the NDC a bitter lesson for touching His anointed. Until members of the NDC repent and render unqualified apology to the clergy, the Man of God said they party will remain in opposition for life.
