The National Democratic Congress (NDC) will today, Monday the December 5, hold her concluding campaign rally for the 2016 general elections. The event is scheduled to hold at the Accra Sports Stadium.
The NDC final campaign comes a day after the New Patriotic Party (NPP) held theirs and two days before the poll coming off on Wednesday, December 7. Thousands of NDC supporters are expected to be at the rally ground for the event.

The NDC campaign coordinator for the 2016 election, Kofi Adams who spoke to Citi News concerning the event said the NDC final campaign will be an opportunity to thank both God and Ghanaians for what the country and the NDC has achieved so far.
He also gave a hint of what the party’s flagbearer, President John Mahama will be speaking on at the event. According to Mr Adams, “Mahama will be touching on various issues including what he has done over the years, what the people he encountered when he went round the country were telling him and also, asking everybody to get out there and vote for him to continue the great job he has begun”.
The opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP) held their final campaign rally yesterday [Sunday] at the International Trade Fair Centre in Accra. Thousands of NPP loyalists thronged the centre to witness the grande event which brought the party’s electioneering for the 2016 general elections to an official close.
The event saw the party’s 2016 Presidential Candidate, Nana Akufo-Addo, his running mate, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, Parliamentary Candidates, all NPP executives and other prominent members of the party in attendance. Some members of minor opposition parties who were not able to meet up with the requirements to contest in the election also graced the occasion.
The NPP final campaign rally was tagged the party’s recent slogan – The Battle Is the Lord’s.
