The National Democratic Congress (NDC) Chairman in the Asunafo South District Abu Frimpong has invoked curses on person (s) behind the disconnection of EC cables in the area.
The main cable which provides access to network in the area was reported to have been disconnected by unknown persons.
A situation which brought the registration exercise in the area to a halt.
More than 150 people who were at the polling station to partake in the continues limited registration last Friday were stranded as a result of the disconnection.
Abu Frimpong told Adom News the exercise ended abruptly thereby causing chaos at the polling station.
After several attempts to identify the culprits proved futile, the chairman invoked curses demanding that the gods deal ruthlessly with persons behind the incident.
“I suspect a foul play and I therefore appeal to the god’s of the town to deal with the people, whether it’s an individual or group” he said.
