Mr. Johnson Asiedu Nketia says he is best placed as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), to know what pertains in the party especially in the areas of financing and support with logistics.
He says he is unaware of 275 Mahindra pick-ups the party benefitted from Martin Delle, owner of the DKM Diamond Micro Finance stating that he has full details of how the party got its branded Mahindra vehicles for the 2016 campaigns.
“These are desperate efforts to malign people. It is part of an agenda of lies embarked on by the NPP and I am sure very soon they will say DKM has been financing the first lady’s foundation. It is the trademark of NPP’s lies”, he said.
Mr Asiedu Nketia said nowhere has the NDC party met with Martin Delle or received any gift from him for party activities and therefore such claims are without facts challenging those making the accusations to back them with evidence.
“I am the Chief Executive of NDC, nothing happens in the party without my knowledge. I have never met the owner of DKM in my life…….as we sit here if he comes in I will not know him”, he added.
The Brong Ahafo Regional Youth Organiser of the NPP Kwame Bafoe popularly called Abronye earlier this week alleged that the ruling NDC received 275 vehicles from the owner of DKM Micro finance Martin Delle.
According to him, it was for this reason; the current government is indifferent to the plight of thousands of customers who have lost their investment to the Ponzi scheme.
According to him, the vehicles were donated to the party in November 2015 through Ghana’s Ambassador to France which is why government is unable to take drastic measures in retrieving the cash of customers.
“I can tell you on authority that Martin Delle recently donated plenty Mahindra cars to the NDC and he did that through Ghana’s ambassador to France,” he added
