The ongoing third Nanjing International Art Festival (NJIAF) in the capital city of Jiangsu Province is a scene of dazzling art. The festival is divided into two sections – the theme section “HISTORICODE: Scarcity and Supply” and the section “Global Collection Exhibition.” In the former, 315 artists from 42 countries and regions display a total of 417 artworks including paintings, sculptures, art installations, photography and videos. In the latter, 243 artists from 12 countries and regions display a total of 253 artworks. Starting on Nov.12, the festival lasts three months until Feb.12, 2017. NJIAF is an annual event which aims to provide a platform promoting cultural and artistic exchanges between the province and the world. This year, the exhibition site has been moved from the Nanjing International Exhibition Center to its new home, the Baijia Lake Museum.
