Nana Addo’s Chieftaincy title according to the chiefs, came as a result of his contribution towards national development, justice and peace over the years. During the short ceremony, President of the Afife Traditional Area, Torgbui Adzaklo V, commended the NPP Flagbearer for his exemplary act of accepting defeat in previous elections.
He said that Nana Addo’s decision to put Ghana first, by resorting to the use of the courts in the aftermath of the disputed 2012 elections, showed great patriotism. The NPP Flagbearer in his acceptance speech, gave the assurance that he will take his new role very seriously and deliver as expected.
